First (I think) boyband singer to come out of the closet, a decade ago. He was 33.

Oh, this is sad.  I remember writing about him and his coming out while I was employed at RadioSpy - which did not endear me to the target audience of 13-to-25-year-old Mountain-Dew-swilling hardcore gamers with poor social skills.

Sadly, all too true.  The guy who brought me on board there, in fact - a former friend of mine - even once espoused the idea of forcibly converting people to Christianity.
