Woo freakin' Hoo!
But the Mighty Katrina is a less-than-auspicious start.
-
But I've been wrong before...
But not today! 1968!
Come all, without! Come all, within! And don't forget your cup of meat!
-
well, "Baby Now ThatI Found You" is less overplayed than "...Buttercup". So VHM Foundations

Hrm. Dig "Baby Now That I've Found You" but this is yet another Morey staple in a week that's been rife with them. Have the suits reined in Annalisa's penchant for the obscure?

BOS/proxy of Gaz: Donovan.

Another thumbs-up to Love Street, but the DB doesn't list this at all. That can't be right? I *know* we've heard this sometime or other.
-
2 songs in a row (KR&tFE and Turtles) that I posted YT clips of on Facebook recently.
Jim lingers on "Love Street". BOS4.
can't find a pic of the "Man from GLAD". :(

Now *this* is a serious BOS candidate: ReeRee, Sayin' a Little Prayer For You.
-
oh my! Ree-Ree makes "Say A Little Prayer" her own. Dionne who? BOS5.

BOS6 one of my very favorite Beatle songs: "I Will". Christmas '68, playing the White Album over and over and over...
-
AL managed to find a Beatles song Dave *hadn't* played in '68. Bustout and BOSX+1 to I Will.
-
Had Dave played this Wild In the Streets clip? Can I assume we're gonna hear Max Frost?

"This is perhaps the most unusual motion picture you will ever see."
Whoever wrote that tagline could never have conceived of David Lynch.
-
fab set --- or the 80% that I heard. Wish I could have been online w y'alls during it to relish in the wonderment.

I do agree with urth that AL seems a bit more conventional this week, but she's still managed a bustout or 2 per set. Today's was certainly most entertaining despite some Moreytrinas. OTOH, I never tire of Max Frost & the Troopers.

10. Max Frost & the Troopers - Shape of Things to Come
I've often wondered if Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, writers of "Shape of Things...", wrote it specifically for the film, or if it was something they had in a drawer after it was turned down by the likes of Paul Revere & the Raiders, the Monkees, the Animals...

BOS to Kenny Rogers
WOS to the Who, a song I don't need to hear again.
