Li'l Steven's show this week was especially fab -- a tribute to Jack Nietsche that featured such gems as the orig Jackie DeShannon version of "When You Walk in the Room", a Michelle Phillips rarity called "Victim of Romance" and Sonny & Cher in their Caesar & Cleo days covering "Love is Strange" quite delightfully ("oh Cleo... how do you call your lover boy?")
You can catch it on London's Absolute Radio at noon.

wow-- 'LNG plays "Sequel", Harry Chapin's, er, sequel to "Taxi" -- I have surely not heard this since it charted in 1980.
-
Highlight of the Day: 'LNG plays the Amazing Rhythm Aces' "Third-rate Romance", a superb bit of storytelling songwriting.

found a great soul/R&B show on www.wrur.org today out of Rochester NY. Fridays 3 - 6 PM (Pacific time) show is called "Rejuvenation." Deejay is Scott Wallace. Highlight for me was Isley Brother's Ain't I Been Good to You? Pts. 1 - 2
