I saw on FB that you saw Soul Power -- I'm gonna have to see it tonite, as it disappears after tomorrow, sadly.

less than 10 viewers at the 7:50 show last night!
main complaint was that they didn't identify artists until end of movie.  Otherwise, lots of fun, short movie.

Mick LaSalle was about the only critic who didn't love it, so i guess people in SF actually read him.  But a perfunctory release on the way to DVD may have been all they had in mind. Still, I'd rather see it on a big screen.

definitely a big-screen, or at least a big speaker experience.  The bass on "The Thrill is Gone" totally did it for me!
