BOS2: Dusty! A record I don't think I will EVER get tired of hearing. And god knows CG plays it often.

Still sounding great, but this song doesn't really hold up any more, from a topical standpoint: "Love Child, different from the rest...always second best...the name of shame I've been bearin', Love Child"

Indeed, even the '80s remake by... Expose? Company B? one of those mid-'80s girl groups... seemed outdated then.  But in '68 it was "shocking" subject matter for Top 40 radio, at least for its white middle-class listeners.
