I've long thought "You Never Give Me Your Money" was the saddest Beatles song, and today it feels even more so. BOS.

Supes as SH6 rather than in the 10-spot. BOS3 and VHM Mr Bristol's guest vox.
-
I still love that Judy Agnew clip. I've never heard it anywhere else.
-
BOS for Spirit. This is the 3rd Spirit song I've heard this morning; RP had a twin-spin of "Nature's Way" and "Animal Zoo". Good morning! Oh, and I used to sing this song with my band, The Random Numbers -- played the guitar solo too.

RadioParadise, a fabulous internet radio station that I'm continually flogging, but can't get anybody (here) to listen to. They're playing Nick Lowe's "Breaking Glass" right now, for reference, and played Vince Guaraldi's "Charlie Brown Theme" (Linus and Lucy?) moments ago.

I agree with you that RadioParadise does good work - I listen to them on occasion, and as with radioio, the guy behind it's on a music/tech-industry mailing list I'm on.
-
BOS5 RB Greaves, thought to be "the new Sam Cooke" (and he was related to Cooke, iirc), but the hits just didn't keep on comin'. A fab 45.
-
Love the KC, but R.B. Greaves gets a BOS simply for rarity. Here comes the sleazy part where he hits on his trusted secretary.
-
And as ever with '69 sets, this one's going to be pretty short. Too bad we didn't hear the long version of 'Court' but whatever. Pretty fine array of tunes, anyway.

Hey, well that's progress then. Bill Goldsmith used to work at KPIG, another of my favorites.

If you had a "True Oldies Channel" affiliate up there, you'd consider RBG not so rare (they've been playing it a LOT lately).

"That's it for this time, Don Par-"<urk!>
Once again, someone's a little quick on the fader.

We've got enough "oldies" format stations as it is. In fact, as of last Friday we have one fewer. Cool 105.9 (which was identical to an oldies station I remember from the Sacto market, Cool 101--both are Clear Channel-owned) became The Brew, which programs late 70s and 80s classic rock. Lots of AC/DC and Def Leppard and the like. Which is exactly why I nearly quit listening to the radio in the 80s. And why I won't likely be tuning into The Brew very much.
