Title: Songwriter Ron Miller ("For Once In My Life")

Not often we post obits 2 years after the fact; but I heard Stevie W's "For Once in my Life" this afternoon (maybe the billionth time I've heard it) and looked up the songwriters; turns out Mr Miller died in July of '07, but this obit (from a UK paper, natch; they love anything Motown-related) is very interesting, I never knew Miller's history --or the song's, tho' I knew it had been recorded by many MOR types.  Check it out:
