I was fearing far later in the 80s...but leading with Journey ain't a plus, in my book.

and we just did 1980 on March 26th.  So clearly nobody at KFOG cares about keeping track of this stuff -- it's just "grab a set from the database and put it on". Eeny Meeny Miny Mo?

BOS Pete "And I Moved".  is this song based on a real incident? A guy tried to rob Townsend and they ended up having sex?

BOS2 Romantics -- amazing that a song that couldn't make the Top 40 in 1980 became a beloved (indeed, overplayed) oldie.

i remember calling my local rocking FM station late one night after they played What I Like About You, I asked the deejay who was that?  He told me, but he was a real jerk about it.  He prob hated the overnight shift, hated this Romantics song he was forced to play and I'm sur ewas hoping for a call from some hot chick and not some punk kid.

Lipps, Inc -- lipsynch, GET IT??  But BOS6 anyway -- this really was one of Dave's better 1980 excursions, even "Romeo's 'Trina" sounded nice today.
