love your 10at10 index, thanks for the service!! my girlfriend told me she heard a 10 at 10 a few years ago where the songs were all about california. i've been opening your links one at a time to search (for "california" of course), but that's very tedious. if you could please do a search and find the date when that
aired, we'd really appreciate it - i believe you could do it in a few seconds(?)

Sounds like a job for the Shraytabase.  I've sent him a link to this thread.

Closest I could find was this.  Not really right:

   01/12/2007 - FRIDAY!!! A good day for...1971!!

   1. Rare Earth - Celebrate
   2. James Brown - Make it Funky
   3. Led Zeppelin - Goin' to California
   4. Joni Mitchell - California
   5. Graham Nash - Military Madness
   6. Guess Who - Albert Flasher
   7. Beach Boys - Surf's Up
   8. Rod Stewart - Reason to Believe (BEST OF SET!!)
   9. Cat Stevens - Tuesday's Dead
   10. Jackson 5 - Never Can Say Goodbye

Dave has done many SF sets, and a couple "why we love the Bay Area" sets. Not sure if the was a "California" set or not; may have happened in the 16 years I've been listening, but it wouldn't necessarily be in the db.

I don't remember a California theme set ever, either.  And I don't see one in the Shraytabase.

Me either, on both counts. I think the girlfriend is trippin'. (Or remembering something from, like, 1994.)

or mistaking an "SF" set for a "California" one.
