I'll be the lone voice of support for the Goat on "Talk to Me." And I like its follow-up, "I Can't Wait," even better.

BOS for Peter's bulge. I know people don't appreciate this, but I've always enjoyed it.
-
So glad we're getting to hear PG's Big Time. The song that played right before the set was...Big Time.

I'm sure the set was, but what bonehead programmed the songs leading up to it?

ETA: Btw, I've noticed somewhat regularly lately that, following 10@10, usually the second or third song will be from the same year that the set was derived. At least two or three times last week, and a few times the week before as well.

"by the rocket's red glare
a generation's blank stare"
late-'80s Browne takes his lumps here, but that's a great line.

BOS: Simply Red

Smoooothness from Icehouse. Could be a Bryan Ferry song, no?

The only song in this set that I woulda BOS'd was Gene Loves Jezebel, but nobody even commented on it.
-
VHM Icehouse, one of the best Roxy Music imitations evah.

almost JINX!

Same groove in this song as in the Bowie/Metheny collaboration, This Is Not America.

And a nod to Van Hagar. I'm sure I'm alone on that one.
-
Mute on for Van Hagar.
Anti-Jinx POC.
Eric's going all the way on the Sound.

Not quite. It's out of my usual playlist, but I have a few pleasant memories associated with this, just because it was all over the radio circa '86.

very true, except the mid-80s snare drum sound stands out for me as sorta un-Roxy

mainly, at the time, I thought the singer was doing a dead-on Ferry, and the melody was even Roxy-ish.
