HM "Suicide Blonde," more a product of production than performance, but still a nice listen.

"Give a little bit, give a little bit of your soul to me": World Party nods in Supertramp's direction?

That first song sounded like Michael Penn to me.
That third song sounded like crap in a box to me.

Toy Matinee, they also did "Smoke Two Joints" (or the Toyes? whatever).
TM's singer was going with Sheryl Crow then.  Julian Lennon guested on LP:

Toy Matinee?  From "sodom" to "Saddam" -- har har.

If we get "RRRRRRRRRRRRRico SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSuave" I'm bailing.  in fact, I think I'll bail anyway -- Bob Shannon's "Behind the Hits" on WLNG is far more compelling to me.

And the Church's uber-katrina clinches it. I'm outta here.

I hope that was an attempt at humor, Wayback.  'Cause the Toyes would be insulted otherwise.

I can get into the hairband-y sound, but WTH does the title mean?  I've never cared enough to look it up, and if no one answers, that would be just fine, too.

Wow, I remember winning a stack of CDs from one of the local stations around '90, and three of 'em are in this set: Jellyfish, Black Crowes, and Toy Matinee. Forget what the other ones were (maybe a Tom Petty best of?) but seeing those three grouped together brought that back. I think I sold the Toy Matinee, still have the others.
