Nope, I think they broke up a couple of years ago. I saw 'em at the Fillmore in 02 or 03--very great show.

BOS the late Ann Richards--a TRUE Texan.

Urth, I have that Election Day 10at10 set taped at your request.  Shall I mail it or give it to you at our Dec gathering?  What do you want on B-side: last week's 1969, 77 or 80 set?

I want to be forever young, too!

Maybe Jimmy Swaggart can arrange that.

Somebody played this Cray track recently and I made a joke about him hoping it would become a Michelob commercial.

Robert Cray recorded a radio PSA for me in 1991. I still have the unedited version.  Nice guy.

I don't think I've heard the Genius of Love on 10@10.. That would be 1981?

It would be, but this's a Ziggy Marley song that samples Tom Tom Club liberally.

Holy Cow, Arrested Development!  Now that's a bustout!  BOS #3 & it syas here an early contender for BOW  never mind.

I have my volume down very low due to Cow Orkers now sitting in the next cubes.  Thought it was "Tennessee"

Not a bustout, but only barely. Alphabet Street has only shown up once previously in the DB, in March of '06.

Seriously? Wow, I'd've bet we've heard it at least twice before today. (unless you're not including "classics")

TANC - I was just watching that video with my visiting friend Dave* yesterday!

PS: Fussy note - Johnny Hates Jazz is a OHW in spirit, but not in name; "I Don't Want to Be a Hero" made the Top 40.

Damn, I was on the phone for that one -- that's easily as rare as "Alphabet St" and woulda been a BOS from me. 10 frink points if you remember the Laura Branigan cover version.

I can't claim any Laura Branigan points, but I do remember that during my college years (91-95), a large number of international students took particular interest in this song.  I never knew quite why that was.
