Black Sabbath and Bauhaus both have songs called "St Vitus dance". APP (at the peak -- or nadir -- of their adult-contemporariness) could use a little more shakin'

Jinx!

I figured someone would jinx that.

fwiw, I found a couple songs that reference it, one by Tom Waits & one by Alice Cooper, but not familiar with either one.  The Cooper tune is on Billion Dollar Babies, so I probably heard it at some point in college or high school.

VHM HL -- Hearing "Don't you Want Me" on the "urban" station in NYC was a major WTF moment in 1982.

BOS for Poltergeist.  That was really scary.  And when my buddies and I dropped acid at Stanford, it was playing at the Sunday Night Flicks.  We got halfway there before deciding that was a baaaaaad idea.  (As was taking acid on a Sunday before two mid-terms, but that's another story.)

Silliest of Set for "Wild Women of Chastity Gulch".  Amazing someone would think that was a title with legs.

ooh, I missed this entire set in real time (I'm listening now to my online player's buffered stream), but methinks that's a Bill Nelson lyric?  ... looking forward to it!

My older brother used to play Be Bop Deluxe a lot!  I loved "Fair Exchange" when I was a young lad.
