Not a Police fan.
I wasn't then, which was too bad, since they were huge in '81, my freshman year at Stanford.  I like them much better now.

Leather and Goat -- yesterday it was a nice surprise; 2 days in a row it's overkill. I'd love to hear Waylon & Jessie's version, tho'.

cronkite BOS2

KQED played some Stevie Nicks concert this past Sat night.  it was so dreadful.  She was flat and, of course, bleaty.
At least she had Waddy Wachtel as her musical director/lead axeman.

uuuh... I will BOS 3.5 for Foreigner.  Lou Gramm is from my hometown (Rochester NY) so they always get some props, even for their dreckiest of moments, sorta like this one.

I'm quite partial to "I Wanna Know What Love is" myself. But there are far worse arena-rock-titans-do-a-ballad moments than this, certainly.  VHM.

One of the few times in my opinion the 70's were better then the 80's, Jefferson Starship (or Airplane). 80's Starship was AWFUL.
