A nice start.  Do you remember when Paul came out onto the stage of SNL dressed as a chicken and sang this song?  Definitely a high point.

Yes, remember it well. Then he threw down his guitar in disgust midway through the song, waddled backstage (with the camera following him) and ripped Loren Michaels a new one for making him do such a stupid bit. Of course, it was hilarious.

The Floyd, cosmic man.  Let me put on my big headphones, lie down and listen to what those men said...

All hail Queen and their first hit, followed by "Nice Nice Very Nice", a very nice cut from Ambrosia's first album, also nice headphone music.

Cue the Vonnegut references--Nice, Nice, Very Nice.

So many people in the same device.

Dude, it's total prog-rock day on 10at10.  I dig it.

When I was a child, I thought as a child, spoke as a child...

Todd, another serious BOS candidate: Real Man.

Way down inside me...

Oh, my, BOS for the Amazing Rhythm Aces!

I had now idea what they were saying in this song.  "Third grade romance?"  "Lorena rendezvous?"  I didn't know what a Rithemace was either.

Mr. Bowie "Fascination" from one of the better albums of 75 (and of his career)

Yow, what's this Bowie disco?  That's gotta be even rarer than TRR.

They're tied actually--both only played once previously. Great tune tho--and I agree with what Wayback said about it, and Young Americans.

Wow!  Nice set, which I can look forward to hearing on Saturday, but I sure wish I'd been there for the bonus track.

Today was a late day in San Jose, so I was able to hear the set on the way down. BOS's from me: the fab Gloria Gaynor, "D.I.Y." (sounded like a loooong version to me) and the Amazing Rhythm Aces, with a VHM to Bowie.

BT didn't really work for me and it was a given. Caller did not get to choose. Set was fab. I called in BOS for Floyd and would have BOS'd ARA had I heard it. Errands at Home Depot beckoned and I missed hits 6-10.

Sorry I missed the GG; it's new to me.  Trivia about the Bowie: Luther co-wrote that one.

Sorry I missed the GG; it's new to me.

I'm positive you've been on board for at least one of its previous appearances.  It flopped as a single, but must've done well in clubs (where Dave remembers it from, no doubt). In any case, a GG best-of is a must-own.
