So, will California Closets get a birthday set in 23 years?

ditto the BOS. And here's the Invisible Man's Katrina. (not literally, but you KNOW I can't resist)

More of a frequent flyer on the regular KFOG playlists than in 10 @ 10.  Only 8 times in 54 sets incl. Today.

"Voices inside my head echo words that you said."

Hey, that's enough lyrics to make a whole song!

I have a friend named Ian Cha who's been known to claim they're singing about him, as well. He's a whole lot more entitled than Chuck is.

There are just so many sets from the years '74-'84 (at least 50 of each) that there aren't many Katrina's, but this spin puts "Whip It" over the top, 11 of 54.

And BOS2 (after the Roxy), Games Without Frontiers.

I'm proud to say I've never seen it. And this weekend, when Every. Other. Gay. Man. in SF is seeing Sex & the City, I'll be at the Castro seeing Indy 4.

Jeez, the whistle set returns! bad continuity!

Romantics: still a fun record after all these plays.
Saw Indy 4, lots of action (and CGI), but Indy and his pals should have died several times during the film!

I saw it last week.  It's about exactly what you think it's going to be.  Shia LaBoeuf is surprisingly not the weakest element, in fact he's prety buff & I could easily see him going the Brendan Fraser route, trading two action adventure paydays for every small indy film.

Bubble, bubble....

This is probably the closest we'll get to a bustout today--two previous appearances. (Cleanup Time, that is.)

TANC: one negative review I saw said the last hour was like a bad direct-to-video sequel to the Mummy films.

I was at a play Sat nite and some guy behind me was going on and on about "this SHYLA kid -- he's fantastic, blah blah". He kept saying "Shyla" and after about the fifth time I thought my head might explode -- I turned around and said "SHIA!! there's no 'L'!"  He was sufficiently humbled.

songs with whistling, remember that one?  they re-played it on Monday, so we got the Gabriel song twice in 3 days.

Ahh.  I didn't 10at10 on Monday.  Was kayaking with my daughter in Elkhorn Slough.  A nice trip, but paddling against the tide is somewhat overrated.

TANC2, I saw the latest Mummy trailer, and it looks frickin awesome.  Brendan & gang get caught up in the return of the Qin emperor and his terra cotta army, with Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh.  Whooop!

I haven't been to the movies for at least a month--I imagine Indy will still be in the theaters once the dust settles, but otherwise I'll have lots of stuff to catch up on via Netflix. (I suspect there aren't too many art/rep houses in rural Oregon, so we'll either be driving to Portland for our movie fixes or renting via one means or another.)

TANC^3, those terra cotta soldiers are mentioned in this week's Time (and not w/r/t the Mummy).

Yep--which means "games without frontiers" en francais. I think "she's so popular" is the most common of the mondegreens of that phrase.
