I was diggint that too, especially Achilles.
Now I may be late to the 10@10 because "Suite Madame Blue" just started & I can't cut away until after the guitars come crashing back in after the synthesizer solo.

And have a pastrami sandwich, a half-sour pickle and a can of Dr. Brown's black cherry at the Second Avenue Deli (2nd Ave & 10th) and we will be as well. :D

no offense to the city of my birth... but you can have better dim sum in SF.
But don't forget a couple o' hot dogs at Gray's Papaya or Papaya King.

That was the one thing I wanted to eat while we were back there that I didn't get to. Bagels, rugelach, pizza, egg cream, pastrami, steak frites, got all o' that, but didn't get a papaya dog.
Whoever figured out that papaya was good on hot dogs is some kinda genius.

no no no -- the papaya's not on the dogs, it's a fruit drink (a la Orange Julius, if you're familiar with that). The hot dogs are a bonus, as it were. Cheap and excellent -- all beef, the kind that "pop" when you take that first bite...mmmmmm...

i'm sure i can, but some friends want to go for dim sum. they're from boulder - what do they know?
you native new yorkers and your hot dogs. i can't eat that crap. unless i'm at a ball game. or unless i'm really hungry. or unless i smell the sauerkraut first...mmmm...kraut. ....mmm..hot dogs....the kind that pop. all juicy goodness...brown mustard bliss...
but i digress.

Do they want the American-friendly dim sum (cooked meats in pastry) or are they looking for hardcore stuff like bellie tripe and chicken feet? (I've gone to the latter twice: love the tripe; the chicken feet, not so much.)
