Very depressing, but hardly surprising.  If we can have this level of "product placement" in our visual entertainment, why not our auditory ... bleeahhh.  I'm sure Armstrong Williams will be happy to mention Big Macs in his future erudite columns.

i wish someone would pay me to sing about vitamin c all day long. they wouldn't even have to pay me cash. maybe i should start that. i'll offer to pimp meryl streep in my songs for sex. yeah, that would be sweet.

you ask me if i'm feelin' sleepy
i say, "no, i'm just feelin' streepy"
you ask me if i'm feelin' mopey
i say, "no, i'm just feelin' like sophie"
have to make a choice...
