if mshray is correct -- and he usually is -- we could get Matthew Sweet. VHM to "Monsters and Angels"

Well as I mentioned over on the KBCO thread, we are very likely to hear "Girlfriend" & "Breaking the Girl".
BOS for the TotHK - "M&A" from VotB.
How's that for acronym overload! ;) ;D ;)

I wish Dave'd play some VotB from their '80s stuff ("Don't call Me baby", etc) but I guess the record company never worked that LP in the US.

BTW, Mike, Urth, Gaz, Geoff & Ali, I just sent the revised Shraytabase out to your personal emails.
ETA: it's about 3 MB, so I hope that doesn't challenge your download bandwidth.

Clarence Thomas can only mean one thing -> "Breaking the Girl".

If you look up "Breaking the Girl" you'll see I even made a special comment in the Wrong Year Raw K column about how it is a double-duty Katrina.

How does he get to be the headliner? Has he done anything in the last 10 years?

I just checked and I haven't gotten it yet--did you send it to my sonic.net address, or the old AOL one?

BOS "I Touch Myself" -- one of the great pop singles of the early '90s.

Yeah, he married Heidi Klum! As you see, he's been busy:

Heidi Klum would say he has!

he may not be the headliner, per se -- they usually have a wide assortment. He may be the only "KFOG artist" playing.

I think to your cnet one actually.
BOS to the Divinyls for me, and a VHM for Smithereens "Top of the Pops", which might be a bustout.
-
Some "Top of the Pops" pop from NJ's Smithereens
-
"I Touch Myself!" signed, Katrina
it's only been played twice, actually. And this Smithereens track is a bustout!
-
Got to go to an appointment, hear the rest in the car. Smithereens are in fact a bustout & Divinyls only made it's 3rd appearance overall.

I could swear I remember hearing it once or twice, but it's a bustout as far as the DB is concerned. Hearing a bit of Kinks influence in there.

There is indeed a wide assortment, but he's the biggest name. I looked at the list to see if it was worth trying to win the pop quiz this morning. Most of the groups are party bands like "Big Bang Beat" and Dick Bright. Not even any TOP or similar.

yikes -- abrupt segue!

That message was from my avatar, named Katrina ;)
-
was that Crowded House on their Knees?
-
I may be the only one, but a BOS from me for Fall At Your Feet. Not nearly as overplayed as other CH tunes. (Just sold my tickets for their Fillmore show tomorrow night :( Moving stuff taking precedence.)
-
Whozis? Squeeze?
-
VHM Mark Cohn.

Yes, true, but he's the one with his picture splashed across the top of their website:
http://www.sfsymphony.org/season/default.aspx?id=29980
You'll also have the chance to hear Blues Traveller, Afrika Bambaataa, Pete Escovedo, and Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys (western swing), to name just a few. So except for BT, I'd say there'll be some things worth hearing.
