#2, Crosby and Nash's Take The Money and Run. Thought it might be a new offering for this set, but no, we heard it last year too.

But Steve Miller's song of the same name is in fact a Tax Day bustout.

That damn Billy Mack, making his money off of people's taxes!

I dug the TtMaR twin spin.  And BOS for Tony Randall!

And now we're getting the "Money" twinspin--Flying Lizards followed by Barrett Strong.  (Of course, this one we've heard before.)

another Tax Day bustout, Rush's "Big Money".

Between this & the Steve Miller it's probably a good thing Mike & Gaz aren't posting.

ETA: forgot to say BOS from me, this is a great song live when everything comes crashing back in at the end.

Mike will appreciate your sentiment since he's not here to bash Rush himself.

 ;) :D ;) :D ;)

well there's only 3 songs left today, but there's still 4 more songs in the Db that have appeared in every set.  Wonder which one (or two if Dave plays "Loan Me A Dime") will get left out?

ETA: well at least it won't be Brother Ray!

I was busy catching up on other threads!  :)  Mike is without 'Net access (I had lunch with him yesterday in the Village).  It's been, um, quite a week around here.

My own tax sitch just got complicated: I hired someone on a friend's recommendation, and he didn't finish in time & had to file for an extension on my behalf.  I'm not really comfortable with that but it's too late to do anything about it.

Hard Fi "Cash Machine", which was a bustout last year.

You just referring to your jaunt to Seattle and back, or is something else up?

That bites. Not a good way for him to ensure return business. At least he filed the extension, but still, a pain in your a$$.

Biggest oversight of set: the Ab Fab clip of "wicker baskets." As I just posted on last week's '75 set thread, I'm feeling humorless about coke humor these days, but at least that one was clever.

I didn't even catch that.  Well played.

A suggestion for post-show track: "We Can't Make It Here."

nice scheduling, for a change: slept thru '80 & '93 and got to hear Taxes and now '68 with '78 yet to come.

Is there anything more horrifying than Rush cribbing from Genesis?

FNM covering LR is at least intentionally funny ;)
