Sixties year today?
ETA: Nope, it's '73. And Stealers Wheel leads off. Where's Mr. White?

Nope, stuck in the middle of 1973 with you.
BOS Stealer's Wheel.

OOoooooeeeee!! Sly wants to get a message over to us now!
BOS If you want me to stay--fab bass line!

And BOS2, Paulie (S. not Macca), One Man's Ceiling.
Perhaps McCartney up soon?
(ETA: Per the DB, McCartney has only appeared in one 1973 set, in 2002 with Hi Hi Hi.)
In the meantime, BOS3 Bowie, Let's Spend the Night Together!

Yep, the spirit of Razsty lives on--I can't hear this song without the words "fake jazz" springing to mind.
Best of luck on the interview Mark! Talk soon!
(For the newer folks hereabout, Raszty is short for Rasztrelnikov, a former habitue of this board in its Yahoo days and resident curmudgeon. He's long gone but not forgotten.)
-
Another BOS for Stevie, who as usual is Too High.
-
BOS4 epic Who!
-
Can't stop now--another BOS to the 'Oo, Love Reign O'er Me.
Great bunch of songs in this set; still waiting for that nugget to send it over the top though.

This'll do, although not a rarity exactly: BOSX+1, H&O Abandoned Luncheonette.

Yes, big BOS to Abandoned Luncheonette, good memories of that album, attending college outside of Philly.
-
A good groove to this set, and now the O'Jays keepin' it on track (Love Train tracks, dat is)!
-
In the home stretch now: Love Train at #9, and the Cat Man finishes the set oh so tastefully with The Hurt.
-
I will BOS the fake jazz. 8)

And a pretty fine week it was--the only substandard set was Monday's '84, and we had 82 and 92 sets that were pretty darn remarkable, as well as 73 and 75.
-
Foghead did OK with the bonus choice--Bodhissatva, but was offered a pair of Little Feat tracks as well so did not make the optimum selection, imo.
