Just before I left for work I heard him mention they still had to build an all-Irish 10@10, so pretty much the same theme we're getting from Ginger. I didn't have time to call anything in, but I'm expecting the usual suspects, mostly. Van, U2, hopefully more Waterboys, etc.

He'll stay pretty far away from the traditional stuff Ginger played, bet we hear Thin Lizzy's "Whiskey in the Jar" for sure.

I'd be thrilled to hear it, it's a CG fave -- should probably listen to Sweeney later.

Seems like just last week the Heitman (sp?) sisters got a birthday greeting. Where has the time gone?

BOS1 Bein' Green (take 3). (Still have a soft spot for the Sinatra version of this.)

and follow him with the Waterboys.  Poor Dave -- Ginger's a hard act to follow.

Yeah, and in cases like this it's not his fault that 10am comes an hour later here. BOS2 Waterboys.

Btw, I fully agree Whiskey in the Jar will be a welcome addition from T'in Lizzy.

BOS Sinead's Mandingo Mandinka, which somebody (Rob?) played last week.

OK, now here's some as yet untilled ground: Sinead, Mandinka.

And a clearly Dave-only clip: Judge Judy reaming some guy out for having a few on St. Paddy's Day.

Don't mess with Judge Judy! (funny how Dave was able to sneak her into the set)

Dave's love of Judge Judy is both sad and disturbing.

BOS(U)2.

So who's this singing about Trouble?*

And I'm wondering if we'll hear Horslips--now that'd be a nice surprise.

ETA: *Ditto this song that's following it. Not the best recording--sounds almost like a bootleg.

Some movie with John Cleese, not a Python bit.  Callled Dave to ask, but he said 'gotta go' before I could narrow it down.

Which Pogues song is this?

I did a quote search on IMDb for "the Irish got first pick" and came up with nothing.  Maybe later if I get really bored I will search through Cleese's extensive movie history, but I kind a doubt it.  Be easier to ask Dave tomorrow.
