He's 49, but somehow I doubt Dave'll do 1959 today.

Maybe next year when he turns 50.  That'd be something!

Oy--quite possibly the worst TOTHK in the entire 10@10 oeuvre. At least it can only get better from here.

VHM Mr Crenshaw, but it's a frequent flier and I wish we'd get the Robert Gordon version occasionally.

Still, it's a happy bouncer.
Speaking of bounce, its Jerry Springer (paying by check, you fool)
<--(PS: pic of me with Dave & Peter).  Happy B'day Peter.

Wow, this Jerry Springer political ad is *way* apropos. Wonder if' Dave's been saving it for just such an occasion.

LOL!  Now I get the inflection Dave used when he mentioned we'd be hearing a 'paid' political announcement.

Jerry Springer sure had balls, didn't he?

Of course no coincidence coming right after Elliott SPitzer's debacle.

And Toto too!  Yikes. I'm all for cheese, but when it rises like Olympus above the other cheeze...

ETA: for years I mondegreened that line as "rises like an Empress".

This set is turning out to be the evil '82--only the Crenshaw and Clash tunes are remotely BOS-worthy.

any ex-Yes members in a band qualifiy them for your undying love, does it?

 ;) ;) ;)

I'm going out on a limb to give "Africa" a BOS.  If some unknown group had composed this & it was just a 1HW, they'd have gotten a lot more love than Toto ever did.

can't BOS it, but I won't disagree with your point. There's certainly an "oh they're just slick, rich LA session hacks" attitude towards them. Of course, that's 'cause they *are* rich slick LA session hacks... ;)

VHM that sexy voice again, but I'd do anything for a bustout or 3

OMFG!!! BOS Culture Club, "DYRWTHM?" Proxy of Gaz.  Dave doesn't play them nearly enuf. This is only their 6th appearance in the shraytabase: 3 with this, 3 with "Church of the Poison Mind".  That's astounding considering how many great pop singles they released in a short time.

Indeed.  Hasn't played this in nearly FIVE years, and the only other CC song he's played in my Db is "Church of the Poison Mind".

No, user error (note, I corrected my initial post). Although the first time I tried to filter for Culture Club, it wasn't listed in the drop-down. Freakin' Microsoft...
