or so we've been led to believe.  Some J-5? CSNY? "Lucretia McEvil"?  I'd really love to hear "Misississipi" by John Phillips.

1970 is a year that's almost always a highlight for me, but so far Traffic and Mungo Jerry are leaving me kinda meh. Hoping Dave really brings it with some good soul in the remaining 8 tunes.

Good chance of most of those, but Dave hasn't played Bread or Carpenters in a 1970 set within the scope of my Db, and Zep only rarely.

Getting the Godness out of the way early, thankfully.

VHM GD at their artistic peak.

Yes, Don Brewer on drums, who earlier in year had played drums on Bob Seger's tour, and bassist Mel Schacher, joined by lead singer Max Carl (38 Special), lead guitarist Bruce Kulick (12 years with Kiss), and keyboardist Tim Cashion (Bob Seger and Robert Palmer).

So, I sent out a newsletter, since this is technically a major announcement (this many surviving members of the Dead haven't played together since 2004) and I immediately got a couple of angry/hatemail emails!
