I gotta give the Go-Go's a BOS, if any of y'all have this album & haven't listened to it in ages, let me suggest that you give it another listen.  I think it holds up really well, those girls were tight (as a band, that is!)

ETA: How the group formerly known as Seafood Mama beat them out for Best New Artist that year is the 2nd most egregious* failing of that Grammy award.  And I don't suppose y'all need any hints as to what the #1 most egregious was.

Who knows, they may have had that attribute in other ways as well. MMMmmmm, Jane Weidlin...

BOS Roxy for the second time in an hour. This time it's The Main Thing. Love that little bass figure that kicks it off...totally unmistakeable.

Forgot about TOH, so I'll voluntarily change that to 3rd most egregious.  (Stop me before this turns into a Monty Python sketch).

This is one of those songs that I loved back in the day, but I really have to give it a guilty displeasure now.  Where's the Next Track button?

So this morning we got 2 good Roxy tracks, and 2 Genesis-when-they-didn't-exactly-suck tracks in 2 hrs.

BOS #3 "Save It For Later"

I'm the same with Paperlate. Kinda catchy back then, but not hard to hear why it was held back and used as a bonus cut on anotherwise lacking live album.

you'll find it sooner or later.

This has been a rather uninspiring week, despite a couple of bustouts along the way. Hope there's something really good on tap for Friday.

TOTALLY!!

I'm really hoping for something great tomorrow.

TANC - I always give "New Frontier" a BOS, but I already heard it on random shuffle driving into work today.  "I hear you're mad about Brubeck.  I like your eyes.  I like him, too."

FYI - I always think that with the extended outtro this would be a great tune #10, but this will be the first time in my Db that is serves that function.
