2pm - 6pm: drinks with friends @ a gay sports bar

I had a great day drinking with friends from multiple walks of life (it's still a really weird thing for me when the orbits in my life intersect), followed by exquisite fried chicken and garlic kale at Dirty Bird, and a night of far too many rum & cokes while watching the Clarks, a Pittsburgh-based bar-rock band I've dug for years. Now scrambling to catch up on work.

Really appreciate the well-wishes from you all!

ironically, the introduction of "The Great Gazoo" was the moment The Flintstones "jumped the shark" (long before that expression had been invented).

I finally looked up jumped the shark (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jump_the_shark). I had never understood it before!
