VHMs Pete and the Romantics. And we're promised Dan Hartman, the looooooooooooong version.
-
Gen'rals 'n' 'Trinas, ah-ha, like ever before.

That would be "Re-Light My Fire," I presume?
-
wow, a Carter-slamming segue. Sting asks "How can you say that you're not responsible..." as Dave is metaphorically Driven To Tears.
-
Another by-the-book set so far. Looking forward to the Dan Hartman, tho.

What happens when you presume? Do you make a Prez out of u & me?
-
Betting on something from Double Fantasy to close the set.

you presume correctly, bub. BOS from me. Wonder if Dave knows the Take That/Lulu version.

And from me. Hartman's only been involved in a tiny number of hits, but they couldn't be more varied.
Shots for everyone if Dave follows this with something by Aretha.

do we know what diva is singing on the Hartman?
ETA: I have a fab Hartman best-of that includes this version, iirc. And his own version of "Living in America" (basically his vocal over the same backing track from the JB version).

So since we got Eddie Money, does that mean we get Lucky Lager instead?
-
WOS the Money Man -- not my fave of his by a long shot.
-
I can still give a BOS to "Trinidad".

LOL!

you have to believe this is ONJ. VHM -- fab production, too bad about the movie it's from.
-
same as it ever was, indeed. Am I right? Am I wrong?
-
BOS2 "Rock Witchoo". MJ when his nose was bigger.
-
Nice. "Rock With You" was ALL OVER the radio in Pittsburgh at the time. I remember hearing it while boarding the school bus on many a snowy morning (as I'm reminded as I look out on our snowy backyard as I type).
-
Bonus was English Beat "Tears of a Clone"
