now if it were '68 we could hear the Irish Rovers...
BTW I got in thru Geoff's link -- it's Thursday.
-
I got in through the link on the clubhouse main page. Just heard "Suffragette City," we'll see if I get bounced out.
So 1966 was the year Tom Jones had a hit with "The Green, Green Grass of Home," no?
-
BTW, was "the luck of the Irish" originally coined as an ironic phrase? The Irish have hardly been the luckiest of the tribes ...
-
Set kicks off with "Here, There and Everywhere" -- lovely song, but wrong for the TOTHC context. We should've had a sky of blue and sea of green instead.
Wouldn't mind hearing Gary Lewis & the Playboys today, for some reason.

or Gary Lewis and the Production Wizards as I like to think of 'em -- apparently dear Gary couldn't sing a lick.

WOS: "Sugar and Spice" (the Cryin' Shames, I want to say) -- sounds oh so 1962 to my ears.

i have the face of another nameless actor floating around in my head. he was in a lot of spaghetti westerns. mustache. terribly fine. olive skin. beautiful smile. i can't remember a name or a single movie he was in. but the films were definitely in color, so it wasn't hondo, or anything like that...
