The country singer who gave Dolly her start, wrote "Green Greeen Grass of Home", and recorded one of my all-time faves, "The Carroll County Accident", was 80.

Another obit had a great line from Dolly, from a roast, about her departure from him: "We had creative differences," she explained. "I was creative, and he was different."
