Thank you in advance, Ginger, for however you save this morning.
(In my case it won't be Little Feat, though.)

well, he's a man to me! I'm predicting Andy Kim and ONJ for Cheeze Medley slots.
-
Rikki, don't lose Larry Craig's number.
-
BOS Dylan from Planet Waves, his Asylum debut after which he said "oops!" and went back to Columbia.
-
Big Ol' BOS to Dylan. "Forever Young"
-
VHM "Bermuda Triangle" -- but if this was on the same LP as "Hypnotized", that's flirting with overkill.
-
BOS2 Buffett, spending four lonely days in a brown LA haze. The haze is a lot browner this week, dude.

Love the song, hate typing out the title: "Must Of Got Lost."

as Ginger just said, that was off the album Living and Dying in 3/4 Time, the title of which is a line from the song "Nautical Wheelers" that appeared on his subsequent album A-1-A.
What were we calling these cousins of Alison? I forgot.

Guess David Geffen wasn't quite as laid back as he was supposed to be.
BOS1 Buffett (back when he was good) and BOS2 JGB--no, not Jerry Garcia, J. Geils.
-
BOS5 Bonnie does Prine.

Alisons once-removed?

Can't recall.
But in the same category, I have one that goes that one better. The title of Golden Smog's first full length album, Down By the Old Mainstream, comes from a song by a different band, Wilco--Someday Soon, off Being There. (The bands do have one member in common--Jeff Tweedy.)

Lively-up yourself A leettle ganja will help weet dat, mon.

BOS5 Bonnie does Prine.
My BOS, unless we close with supreme cheeze.

Could be--how do you feel about James Dean?
-
WOS to "James Dean." A hint of the sludge-dripper Glenn Frey would become.

I hadn't realized I was answering your question, but there you go!

I'm not gonna champion it as one of their best or anything, but you have to remember that the James Dean cult was peaking at the time, as the '50s revival picked up steam. Whether Frey was a genuine admirer of Dean's or if he thought writing a song about him was a good commercial idea... I dunno.

Okay then, here a M3S for ya:
Stones - "Shattered"
Beatles - "Lovely Rita"
Doors - "Back Door Man"

Okay then, here a M3S for ya:
Stones - "Shattered"
Beatles - "Lovely Rita"
Doors - "Back Door Man"
Each spawned the title of an album by a different band:
Back Door Man: But the Little Girls Understand...--The Knack
Lovely Rita: Give Us a Wink--Sweet
Shattered: Love and Hope and Sex and Dreams--the BoDeans
I was pretty sure you were going for something like that, but yes, I had to look at the lyrics to the last two to get the specifics.
-
You got it, Kudos!
That's one of my favorite M3S's that I've ever concocted, but I think it'd be too much for Annalisa.
