Hey You -- Bachman! You're repeating yourself to the detriment of your career!

This is a *new* classic though.  I don't have "YA" as TotHK previously.  On the other hand "Hey You" has been the TotHK 3 times out of 5 appearances.

Not finding this one in the Shraytabase, so it'll be surprises all the way thru (so to speak).

Leading with YA was cool, but I was never too jazzed about Hey You--kind of a You Ain' Seen Nothin' Yet retread. The BTO we heard last week was much better.

Not my favorite Steely Dan song by a long shot, but best-ever song about a circle jerk.

Three times? I only turn up two in the DB I have. Is there some sorta sorting glitch in the file?

I got your message, I think maybe Geoff go this links crossed up & you're getting the old file.  Let me find where he put it in the thread.

Be part of the brotherhood
Yes it's chain lightning
It feels so good
Hush brother, we cross the square
Act natural like you don't care
Turn slowly and comb your hair
Don't trouble the midnight air
We're standing just where he stood
It was chain lightning
It feels so good

well, it's possible. Ricky, don't lube that numbah!

Well, hmm.  Hard to say conclusively with anything of the Dan.  Some folks on SongMeanings think it refers to the rise of Hitler.  Hard to say, but at least the thread will be over now :-).

Go to the last page of the Sept 21 KFOG thread, and there's a link there.  I just checked & it downloaded the most recent file that covers up to 8/31/07.

BOS America "Daisy Jane", very nice vocal arrangement.

You can tell this is an old set, otherwise Dave would have stuck John Cleese in between America & Zep.

AAAACK! WOS Sammy Johns, "Chevy Van".  '70s cheeze at it's most rancid. [*shudder*]

And some good ol' 75 cheeze to finish off. This and Afternoon Delight fall into the same category, just a year apart.

My sentiments exactly.  The cringeworthy "Chevy Van" just might be the most dated song of the decade, and that's saying a lot.

OMG! Ray White is doing the midday shift on KFOG.  He was on KKSF for a bunch of years, but I actually listened to him on NY radio as far back as the '70s.

Well, considering the riff is aledgedly stolen from Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" ...
