Hoping we get something good for as a sendoff, but I have no predictions. Would have said '79 was due, but we're hearing a song off Breakfast in America leading into the set, which is a 79 release.
ETA: So much for high hopes. Sigh. Please surprise us, Dave.
TFF leading off and sounding very much like Peter Gabriel of the same era. (Hey, they're both from Bath--d'ya think....?)

WTF??? We just had an '85 "classic" last week! Color me disappointed, to say the least. Unless a major bustout is on tap, of course.
And that '85 "classic" wasn't actually a rerun, iirc.
-
VHM DD, but I'm holding out for something better.
-
VHM, The TH.
Good songs so far, though nothing urth shatterring, I don't feel.
Jim, are you shattered?
-
Well, OK... BOS T.Heads.
'85 was the first time I ever went to LA; I remember driving up'n'down PCH listening to KROQ -- this LP was hot then.

Nope, I seem to still be in one piece. :)
With you on the VHM to the 'Heads, and another for Bryan Ferry while we're at it.

Jeez, we heard "Don't Stop the Dance" in last week's set too. Dave REALLY needs a week off, methinks.

That lends credence to the theory that last week's set was a classic after all.
And here's the BOS: Waits, Down Down Town.
-
Holy Toledo, no foodking way KFrOG played Tom Waits in 85.

indeed, BOS2 to "Union Square" and possibly a bustout?
-
Best Flashback of set, the Moonlighting theme.
-
And now the Hooters tune we heard (twice?) last week, tho' not from Dave.

Thanx for the correx there, Mike.
But no bustout--it's appeared twice before, in 02 and 05. But it's the only Waits song that's in the DB--that can't be right.

No that can't be right -- Dave's certainly played other Waits stuff over the years.
Not as often as he plays Cock Robin, tho'. Sheesh.

AAAACK! Marillion! "Lavender" blew (and still does).
-
HM Marillion, Lavender Blue. A little pseudo-Genesis from a time when the real one wasn't so great.

AAAACK! Marillion! "Lavender" blew (and still does).
This is GODAWFUL! Bad Genesis is better than this.
-
A little pseudo-Genesis...
... goes a LOOOOOOONG way.
-
BOS3 DM's S&M, "M&S"
-
Crikey! 2nd repeat from last week's set. "Ball & Chain" indeed!
-
And another repeat from last week's trip to '85: Eurythmics, Ball and Chain.

Dave's doin' serious drugs this morning.

As if that wasn't one of the more bizarre sets I can recall -- Jose's still on the scene!

Aren't we always?
Seriously, we just found it odd that Dave would do 1985 TWICE in a week (and repeat 2 songs, no less). Hope Michigan/Canada clears his head.
