So Leona left $12 million to her dog. Several grandchildren get bupkiss. Bet they'd like to introduce said pooch to Michael Vick.

Whatever her relationship with her grandchildren was, this bequeathment just proves how much of a depraved, despicable person she was.  Nothing against her dog, but one-hundredth or even one-thousandth of that would have been plenty for all its lifelong needs.

I'm genuinely pissed off by this.

PS: Yeah, she gave money to charities.  But I have little to no respect for people who earn their fortunes through cheating and subsiding on the backs of others and then draw accolades for giving a fraction of it back in alleged philanthropy.

hey, my first dog was named trouble! he was a boy, though. and certainly not a lapdog.

this reminds me of the jan hooks as bette davis skit on snl. bette's children go to the reading of the will and are presented with a videotape of their late mother. after a little introduction, she announces (and i paraphrase), "michael - you get EVERYTHING! katherine - you get NOTHING!" then she laughs for ten minutes straight. when they fast forward the tape to get past the laughter, jan hooks pretends she is a tape being fast-forwarded, and goes "memememememmemememe" while flailing her arms quickly.
