And an excellent TOTHC--Todd's Love of the Common Man, from Faithful.

Agreed!
-
I believe there should be a proxy of Beej for "Dream Weaver", no?
-
Just tuned in. VHM Dreamweaver.
BOS Frampton
-
this Frampton tune is a bustout, or near enough to one. nice.
-
BOS2 Love Rolly-coaster
-
BOS2 to Boz, It's Over, which I think was the first single from Silk Degrees.

on the other hand, "What Can I Say"...while a nice tune that you don't hear anywhere else these days...is verging on Katrina-dom with Dave.

And unfairly left off his Hits!

Bustout to me, never having owned the album or heard it front to back; I heard the opening notes and thought, "Why on earth would Dave be playing 'Listen to the Music'?"

Oops, I think I was hearing the wrong song. "It's Over" is not at all a Katrina.
-
so which is worse, being 'wrapped up like a deuce' or 'cut loose like a deuce'?

I was always puzzled by Frampton's intro to that song "We'd like to get a little bit funky now..." THIS is FUNKY?!?!? I guess if you're a white kid from the UK, but jeez.

Another not too shabby set imho.
It may come as a surprise to y'all...especially considering how much the last 3 songs (Manfred M, Nazareth & Thin Lizzy) are classic rock staples...that the only songs in this set which appear in my Db more than twice are "Dream Weaver" & "Love Rollycoaster".
-
ooooh, fun with the BCR's.
S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y!

Geesh: Four "anthems" in a row, with S! A! T-U-R! D-A-Y! NIGHT!

It's "revved up", at least in the Springsteen version. Which makes sense, a "deuce" being a sports car.

add the BCR's to the list...but still, each of these three has a frequency of only about twice per year.

Dang, can't believe I missed the bonus track, about which my affection is well documented.

well, we're both partially right on this one. It is 'Revved up' in the Manfred Mann version, and 'Cut loose' in the Springsteen. Nowhere is it 'Wrapped up' which has been a mondegreen for me up to this week.
Looks like the Sat marathon is going in Mon-Fri order again.
