Title: The Peak, 05/31/07: It's 1989
Post by: Gazoo on May 31, 2007, 07:17:47 AM
Two of the first three are new to me.  BOS to the Neil track, which reminds me of "The Loner."

10:00 AM    Tom Petty    Free Falling
10:05 AM    Ten Thousand Maniacs    Eat For Two
10:09 AM    Neil Young    No More

I'm assuming you must've known the Petty, so the 10G-Ms was new to you?  Interesting. Got quite a bit of airplay at the time.

It would not surprise me if Dave does '89 today too.

unfortunately both '88 & '89 are overdue, although if Dave plays some Stone Roses in the latter year I will get excited.

Indeed.  And given the hubbbub over the new Macca single, "My Brave face" would be an excellent choice (and a Morey bustout).
