I guess he doesn't mean the Summer of Love, more's the pity.

Got caught in an extended convo by the bagels and missed the backsell--so it's either 68 or summer songs--guessing the latter. Cue the Sly Stone.
And hoping for Elvis C's Other Side of Summer.

I wish I could predict Lottery numbers like i predict 10@10 sets...

Expecting the ususal suspects, not that that's a bad thing.  But Style Council's "Long Hot Summer" would be a treat. Ditto Blotto's "I Wanna Be a Lifeguard" which Rob played Monday.

ah, Sly...

with the notable exception of the highly non-summery Motels summer song.  Wishing very hard for Dave to eschew that one.

Dave sez this set was "Foghead generated" -- anyone actually hear him ask for requests? (Nothing on his blog)

I think the DLR cover of Calif Girls woulda been a nice change.

VHM to Chuck Prophet.

And hey, it's not Help me Rhonda, but BOS3 to the Wilson Bros. et al, California Girls.

Not I. Is he maybe slipping in a classic without flagging it as such so he can make an early exit?

CKLW saves the day. Sorta.

I just found out I get to go home early, thanks to some computer probs my supervisor is having.  As soon as my work is finished (around 1pm I suspect), I'm outta here.  Have a great weekend, all.

Nice. Wish I could to that, but not likely. But I've got Giants tix for tonight and tomorrow, so I'm in for a good weekend.

And it turned out to be an 11-at-10--love when that happens.

Ah, that's tempting but we already have more Giants swag around the house than you can shake your stick at. Bobbleheads, umbrellas, caps, train whistles, trading card sets--I've even got a couple of Giants BBQ tool sets from Fathers' day a few years back.

didn't hear the choices Annalisa offered for the Bonus Track, but whoever the foghead was picked correctly: Big Bro's sublime take on Gershwin's Summertime.

One o' these days...you're gonna R-I-I-I-I-S-E up singin....

They showed a brief clip between innings on tonite's game. Eddie Money looked old and fat.
