the Monday morning Blues Lady on KPOO isn interviewing somebody from that Mt Tam production of Hair.
-
KPOO's Judge gets into a Jacksons groove: their forgotten track "Things I Do For You", followed by "Shake Your Body Down to the Ground".
-
Here's somebody doing an endless note-for-note instrumental cover of "Shaft". Quite pointless, IMHO -- I hoped at first it might be the Sammy Davis Jr version, but no.

Downright bizarre: the Johnny Mann Singers (!) had the UK hit of "Up Up & Away" -- the 5D's version didn't chart.
-
That Lawn Guyland classic rock pirate, WMIR, is doing a fine job today: "Peaches & Regalia", "Sister Morphine", and a faithful cover of "Supernatural Thing" that wasn't Ben E King.
-
Geils, "Come Back", a forgotten track of theirs I haven't heard in a gazillion years.
-
What. You need. My sooooooon..... is a Holiday in Cambodia!
Closing out a killer afternoon on WMIR.
-
I drive a Rolls-Royce ... 'cause it's good for my voice!
CG plays one of my very fave T.Rex tunes, "Children of the Revolution".
-
Wow - CG plays Vangelis, "Chariots of Fire". It's been ages.
I still remember seeing the movie and saying "where can i get that music?" -- several months before it exploded onto Top 40 radio.
-
WLNG plays Morey fave "Wonderful World, Beautiful People" -- I've heard it many many times, but never noticed the references to Nixon and Harold Wilson at the end.
-
Fab way to end my day: Kiki Dee, "I've Got the Music In Me".

Fab way to end my day: Kiki Dee, "I've Got the Music In Me".
Mr. Sassy in your new job now !
All online all the time and posting too. I like.

'CDX unearths Ringo's cover of "Only You" -- it's been decades.
-
TANC: KCDX brings me John Kongas twice in 3 hours. That drum intro always makes me think I'm hearing Cher's "Half Breed".
-
Grace is rockin' herself to sleep on 'CDX.
