Post by: mshray on April 24, 2007, 10:02:53 AM
day two of classic week starts off where Bob ended in Chicago this morning - "Magnet & Steel".

wonder how many other repeats we'll get.

My stream was briefly interrupted, but did they actually replay the birthday announcements?

this is the Uber classic set, it was already a repeat when it first appeared in my Db back in 2002, we heard it again in 2004...and now today.  But can't complain since I was bemoaning having missed a Steve Martin clip in the WDRV set earlier.

1.) Walter Egan - Magnet & Steel
2.) FM - Phasers On Stun
3.) Boston - Don't Look Back
4.) Rolling Stones - Respectable
5.) Bruce Springsteen - Candy's Room
6.) Olivia Newton John & John Travolta - You're the One That I Want
7.) Cars - Just What I Needed
8.) Journey - Anytime
9.) Ronnie Montrose - Town Without Pity
10.) Steve Martin - King Tut

Montrose's TWoP deserves to be a James Bond theme.

"Honky" is a state of mind.  Steve was anticipating Chappelle's Racial Draft.

"jungle bunny."
"honky!"
"spade."
"honky honky!"
"n word."
"dead honky."
