Post by: RGMike on April 17, 2007, 09:57:33 AM
money money money!

O'Jays, Ray Charles, Robert Cray...

Has Dave ever played ABBA's "Money Money Money" in this context?

Wonder which Randy Newman song we'll hear? And here's Barrett Strong--Flying Lizards to follow?

nailed it! Best Yoko imitation evah.

We always get Randy's "It's Money That Matters", and I always wish for "It's Money That I Love" instead.

Pre-emptive BOS to the Beatles (yay), when it gets here.  Sure, it's predictable and all, but it was my theme song for the few years I did taxes for a living...

He's also played Have Pity on the Working Man. Quite the monetary oeuvre in his catalog.

Never heard this James McMurtry song before tho.

ooo!!! BOS James McMurtry -- a welcome new addition to this usually predictable (if enjoyable) set.

Guess we'll get the AbFab clip too.

I assume you mean "never in the Tax Set" and not "Never ever".

A great, great song.

It's predictability that matters.

Dave's inexplicable love of Judge Judy (and court shows in general) is just so, so sad.

Yes, that's what I meant. And it's got my lone BOS vote for the set--even the Kinks I've heard too much in this setting.

Dear God! that was Ray Charles.

I just realized Dave counted the 2 versions of "Money" as one song -- way to go Dave! (there have been years where he's counted them as 2)
