I've got good luck and bad luck...
-
OK, so Dave promised to out-do himself in July, when we get another Friday the 13th. When was the last time we had two Friday the 13ths in a four-month span?
Stevie to lead off--and the first repeat from Ginger's 9pm opus.
-
and the letterboxes fall once again!

"On average, Friday the 13th occurs 1.71 times a year, according to University of NSW probability expert Professor Estate Khmaladze.
It can occur a maximum of three times in one year. That happens only when it falls in February in a non-leap year, followed by one in March. The third is in November."
BOS Eddie Floyd.
-
2nd repeater: Petty. I'm starting to feel a lot less lucky.
-
Allison Krauss? Just an educated guess--the dobro sounds a lot like Jerry Douglas.

I missed that -- My boss called me in to ask why My last day is in the middle of the week and why can't i work thru until Friday.
Threepeater: Rod & Jeff.
-
OK -- I'd plum fergot about "Bad Moon Risin'" -- VHM.

You should tell him, "Fine, if you want me to end on a Friday, then today's my last day." God forbid you should actually have a few days off between jobs.
Some bosses just don't get it.
-
Threepeater: Rod & Jeff.
But first for me this morning. Thus BOS #1.
BOS #2, CCR "Bad Moon Rising"...although I can't hear this without chuckling about Chris Berman.
-
#4 on the repeater roster, I believe this is Joan Armatrading.
-

Definitely Allison Krauss. I really like her, and easy on the eyes too.
And a pretty weird-sounding tune from Joan Aramatrading. Not so good.

And I actually have pre-employment stuff to do at Kaiser on Wed & Fri, that's why I scheduled my exit for Tues. (Of course, I'll work in the Giants game on Thurs too  ) And since I don't have to get up early on Thurs, I may go to the Sharks playoff game Wed nite after all..
fourpeat: Ms Armatrading, but I totally don't mind hearing this twice.

that's what I get for trying to listen and talk on the phone simultaneously.

"your 10 unlistenable songs are coming -- in July!"
anybody wanna take the over/under on Dave being on vacay that week?
-
1. Stevie Wonder - Superstition (BEST OF SET!!)
2. Eddie Floyd - Knock On Wood
3. Tom Petty - You Got Lucky
4. Alison Krauss - The Lucky One
5. Jeff Beck - I Ain't Superstitious
6. CCR - Bad Moon Rising
7. Tommy Castro - Lucky in Love
8. Joan Armatrading - I'm Lucky
9. Stevie Ray Vaughan - Voodoo Chile
10. Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes - Bad Luck
BONUS TRACK: John Lee Hooker - Mr. Lucky
Counting the Bonus, that's 5 songs shared by KFOG & KBCO. Dave's set was actually quite fine, he just had the misfortune of following Ginger. Sure sounded like he had to deal with a LOT of disgruntled HFH aficionados.
