Hoping it's good.

And it's spot the vinyl today, too.

Trent sounds pretty lame to me.

1986, no? "Rat in mi Kitchen" -- didn't we do '86 fairly recently?

This is most certainly 1986, and two UB40 favorites in as many sets sure makes my day.

It's actually been a month -- March 1st:

Quote
1. Level 42 - Something About You
2. Clarence Clemons - You're a Friend of Mine
3. Talk Talk - Life's What You Make it
4. Dire Straits - The Man's Too Strong (BEST OF SET!!)
5. Pet Shop Boys - Opportunities (Let's Make Money)
6. Alarm - Strength
7. Jackson Browne - For America
8. Ric Ocasek - Emotion in Motion
9. Robert Palmer - Hyperactive
10. XTC - Summer's Cauldron

and UB40's "Rat" was the bonus that day.

BOS #2 for the different style and pattern, better known as an urban version, featuring Herb Alpert.

BOS #3 for the president, who has it all mapped out.

My first BOS to Diamond Dave, trolling Ladies Night in Buffalo.

and BOS3 DLR, "Ladies Night in Buffalo" -- a Narada for me, I don't recall ever hearing it in 1986.

PsyFurs remake of their own "PIP"gets a "meh" from me -- I prefer the orig.

Anyone else think the Psych Furballs tune could be our vinyl cut?

VHM for this version--I like the one from their '82 Talk Talk Talk album better.

sign me up for that sentiment as well.  and I'd go so far as to say Dave should stop playing it in '86 once and for all.

VHM for RGMike & the RGMechanics.

I dunno why it would be -- the PIP sndtk is surely out on CD -- but anything's possible.

har har.  And agreed on the "stop playing it" -- it's a corollary to the "cheating" rule about songs that charted (barely) a second time ("I Melt With You", "Dancing in Heaven").

BOS4 Hooters. The band, not the restaurant.

VHM INXS, or as ABC's "radio priest" Father Tom used to call them, "inksess".
Title: no real BOS

Long set, but relatively inconsequential, even with 4 BOS's. And DLR was the vinyl.

Ditto for me, and all the more puzzling since Dave ignores the Top 10 hits "Yankee Rose" and "Just Like Paradise."

Not nearly long enough.

As to the vinyl, I think just about every song in the set is (or has been) out on CD, but that was sounding most "warm" to me.

I was wrong, of course. It was DLR, Ladies Night.

Hell, he rarely-if-ever plays "Calif Girls" or "Just a Gigolo" either.
