And the Brad Delp Memorial Tribute continues.
Boston, Rock and Roll Band, TOTHC. And just a little hokey, too.

Dancin' in the streets of Hyannis! Tell Ted Kennedy to keep his shirt on, please!

Gerry Ford blows it in the right direction. "And if you'd go out and look for a job you'd find one! Now get off my lawn, ya punk kid!"
-
ELO wants it So Fine. So there!

if you don't, Heather'll kick the door in! Oh wait, maybe not...

Still waiting for a nugget of some sort. Let 'Em In just isn't quite doing it for me.
Boz? Closer, but not quite there. Sticking pretty damn close to the top 40 today.
-

It may just be a throwaway pop song, but it sure sounds good. George Martin would be proud...
-
and now Boz gives us the dirty dirty lowdown. Talk about Dave being in by-the-numbers, gotta-play-the-hits mode!
-
Steven Tyler just loves sassafrass-as-euphemism, don't he though?

Exactly. This Aerosmith could end up being the closest to an obscurity we hear today. Proxy of Alicat, while I'm thinking of it.

BOS2 BadCo, "Silver Blue & Gold". The color of the sky, I'm told.
But really, I'll have no qualms about missing the replay tonight in favor of a new South Park ep.
-
This BadCo almost counts as a nugget, although we heard it a lot back in the day. (Proxy of Shray, iirc.)
And the Bros. Johnson def. counts, nuggetwise!

"My buuu-uu-uust-out is overdue"

DM sez he had a couple o' sledgehammers in there, and judging by the tone of voice he used in the backsell, I'd guess Silver, Blue, and Gold is one of 'em.

I am officially burnt out on this salsa Coldplay thing. They seem to play it every 3 hours.

Well, starting tomorrow morning, you'll hear it only once in the next week or two, at least on KFOG, cuz A to Z starts tomorrow. Oh boy.

gonna have to break down and get the CD, as Dave will probably never play Spirit's version of "Like A Rolling Stone."

For the first time in almost a month the sets are not playing back in Mon-Fri order. So far it's Tues-Wed-Fri, with the 2 weakest sets remaining.

I was really hoping they'd settled on doing them in order every week. I decided to bypass the marathon in favor of KPIG this morning, as Friday's was the only set I really cared to hear again, and I actually caught the last half of '67, as the bathroom radio was on KFOG when I turned it on at around 9:10. But when Dave said "1990 is next" I switched back to da Pig.

I was pretty dismayed to find out they'd switched up the order again too, as I was hoping to archive yesterday's 67 set. So when I rolled over and turned on the radio a little before 9 just in time to hear the set begin and Don say "it's 1967", I was really bummed. I was out til after 1 last night, and just couldn't get it going any earlier. C'est la vie.
