I always get the JLH duets LP confused with the Buddy Guy duets LP

VHM Robin Williams when he was good.  And now Ms Merchant removes all the sexual dread from "Because the Night".

Ha Ha! the 'Uncle Frank & Aunt Jack' line from Mrs. Doubtfire.

btw, Jenna Malone, who played the older sister, is very good in Donnie Darko, which some of you were wondering about last week.  To repeat, you guys need to see this, if only so I can talk about it without worrying about the spoilers.

best Flashback - "Are You Gonna Go My Way", which I watched on MTV Asia a lot that year.  Even watched it win the MTV Video awards that year.  Remember who won the female performer award in that show?  I bet Ginger plays it in the 2nd half.

Knew you were gonna make a Sideshow Bob comment.

Nice TFF bustout here.  Don't think I have heard this on the radio, although I liked it on the album.

Dave plays it (often in the wrong year, but he does play it).  It got a lot of KFOG play when it was new.

this is a bustout, afaik: "Joy & Blues", Ziggy M -- unless Ginger has played it before, which is possible.

Hoping DM sticks with the trend toward more recent dates on the local set. I have the dreaded 10am meeting, so will miss today' for that reason, then I have a dentist appt tomorrow @ 9:30, so will likely miss most of that set as well. Odds are I'm going to miss at least one mid-70s set, at the least. Grrr.

And then I'm supposed to have jury duty this week too (day TBD), so I may be pretty scarce when it comes to commenting on the KFOG set in real time.

BOS Tom Hanks, pissing off the fundies (no doubt) by implying that gay people go to heaven. Nice, if obvious, seg into "Streets of Philly".

I have a feeling today will be a mystery year set.  Been a while since Dave did one.

I gotta believe that '91 yesterday means early '80s at very least today, mystery or no.
