indeed -- here's a song from that era that does not really hold up well, IMHO. A cute novelty at the time, but considering where rap went the following year (Grandmaster Flash etc) and beyond...

I really like this song, but it's played so frequently that it might be a good candidate for Katrina replacement (surgery).  It's a Rider, doncha know.
