Dave promises Jackson Browne to one of the b-day clubbers.
And we start with some Foreplay (after a bicentennial clip). One assumes Long Time will follow (this better be counted as one song).
-
Damn, urth I thought sure today would be your long-predicted '77 set.
"Long Time" indeed.

Yeah, me too. But if we're in 76 today, it's safe to say we won't hit 77 'til next week at the earliest.
So what JB song will we hear? I suppose the title cut from The Pretender is most likely, but I'd love to hear The Fuse, or maybe Your Bright Baby Blues off that record.
-
BOS KC, "Shake Your Boobies", as my (straight) friends mondegreened it that year.
-
wooo hooo
shake shake shake!!!!!!
-
The legendary Christine Perfect, on a '75 (left)over my head.
-
BOS BOC ETI.
-
BOS BOC ETI.
Ditto -- how nice to hear something besides the Reaper from this LP.
ETA: and another for the "Alisons" list.
-
Balthazar!!!!!!!
Tuned in on a break from a conf call, not sure how long until the phone will ring & I have to get back on, but glad to have heard this!
-
And now, for my 1000th post, BOS for Bowie's "Stay". A really great record with snazzy guitar work.

And a nice guitar workout from Mr. Dharma, too.
(One of the songs played shortly after Monday's set was "Reaper" and someone slipped in a clip of Christopher Walken pining for "more cowbell."
And another great guitar workout follows--Messrs. Alomar and Slick, tearing it up on Stay.
-
Roll Over! Sit! oh no, wait... Stay! That's what I meant to say.
-
BOS3 Network
and --OMFG! -- BOS4 Eric Carmen, "Sunrise"!!
-
and love lies bleeding in my Sunrise...
-
BOS5 Boz!! "Love Me Tomorrow". This is the first "keeper" set of the week. Most impressive.

OK, I was wrong on all counts. BOS3 (or is it 4) to Here Come Those Tears Again.
-
only a VHM for "Here Come Those Tears" -- we've heard it a buncha times in the past year. Wasn't there a day we heard it 3 times?
-
Very nice. Haven't heard in a long time.
-
VHM to Starbuck, Moonlight Feels Right. But like HCTTA, I feel like we've heard this a few times over the several months.
-
Mmmmmmmmm... Cheeeeeeze...
BOS6 Starbuck, makin' the tide rise again (heheh).
-
proxy of, well, you know. Get yo' FEZ on!
-
Fuse, Fez, close enough.
Donald wants to be a holy man, but he needs his headgear. BOS5. Definitely a keeper today.
-
I was gonna suggest that the Carmen was vinyl...
