Nice to have ya with us, bub -- one month exactly since our last '69 excursion (1/2/07). Ah gots to walk on!

Thank you for 69!
Nice for Friday.

And here's Max Yasgur, addressing the multitudes.
Got to revolution!!!

BOS Moodies! You know it's true! We all know that it's true.
-

plane touched down at 8:10, walked in the door at 9:40. And Shanghai is anything but balmy this time of year.
-
wow, a Moodies twin spin. I for one never heard Dave play that Coke commercial before.
-
For a sec I thought -- a Moodies twin-spin! But it was just a Coke commercial.
Wow: Coke after Coke after Coke after...
-
Chomp!
-
sock a little POLK salad to me! One Katrina I NEVER get tired of. (Kinda like the taste of Coke).
"a wretched... spiteful... STRAIGHT-razor-totin' woman!"
-
...stealin' watermelons outta my truck...
-
...stealin' watermelons outta my truck...
Truck patch, actually
Set of the week and possibly the month, even if this I. Ron Butterfly track is becoming 'trinified.
-
with pleasured hands...I cast my next BOS vote.
-
First use of the phrase "Who's Your Daddy" -- an historic moment!
-

Dave keeps coming up with Coke commercials we've never heard by bands I'd never guess did Coke ads. Roy Orbison?
BOS2, Iron Butterfly.
And while we're at it, BOS3 Colin Blunstone and the Zombies.
(clap)--thwock--Ahhhh.....
-

Now that's what I call timing. Glad to have you back--it's been a little quiet here.

Welcome back. I guess I'm outta touch... didn't know you were gone.

Mmmm, BOS to Sly. Even if it is (probably) a Katrina. (Of course being a youngin, I was introduced to the song via the Liquid Jesus version off of the very excellent Pump Up the Volume soundtrack.)
-
proxy of Gaz for Sly...and another BOS for the Beach Boys from me.

I'll second the BOS for Stand. So much better than "Dance to the Music". Ooh, the Bbbbeach Bbbboys. Good stuff.

Think I heard the Dating Game
-
BOS # whatever Beach Boys, nice to hear "Breakaway" for a change.
TV medley! Family Affair! Super Chicken! Yay!
"I'm so glad we had this time together..."
-
Now here's a bustout, likely the first of today's set: Beach Boys, and I'm embarrassed to say I can't place the title.
-
BOS - TV medley - brings back lots of memories!!
-

Ditto for the Family Affair and what I think was the Big Valley theme.
-
this may be the most extensive TV theme medley I've ever heard Dave play.
-
Courtship of Eddies Father
Lover American Style
Brady Bunch
Zowie!

not a bustout, I'm sure Dave's played it, but not very often.

Still not done... and another special mention from me for F-Troop.
-
BOS: "Best Friend", theme from Courtship of Eddie's Father.
I remember loving that song, hearing it in reruns, I guess. Never understood what was up with that Japanese housekeeper though, or really anything about the show.
-
Can't get thru on the phone. Urth, will ya IM Dave and tell him that was the best medley, ever...?
-

It was an accepted fact back then that a single dad couldn't POSSIBLY raise a child without help; Family Affair had Mr French and Eddie's Father had Mrs Livingston.
