off-topic to Dave, have you been to/plan to go to any Stanford BBall games?  They seem to be exceeding expectations so far.

No plans to do so.  We've been heap busy.  We briefly considered getting some Women's BB tix, but decided we were already overwhelmed.  I don't know if you can get any single tickets for men's.  They ARE doing nicely.

Been a very nice set so far, but of the songs we've heard to this point, Joni's got my BOS vote. (JB was cool too, but haven't we had the obligatory post-mortem appearance by him already?)

no such thing as too much JB -- I fully expected an all-James tribute set last week and was disappointed that Dave didn't so one (esp since last Friday we got 1990 instead).

how's that go in French?  'Plus ca change', or something like that?

I like to pretend I can speak French, but I know I can't get away with it when POC is online.

That's because ALL Rush lyrics are incomprehensible--it's a given. ;)

(Same could be said for Yes, among others.)

I pretty much got the whole Beach Boy catalog during Tower's death throes, and quite sure I got this one in particular.  Most of the LP's are now on double CD's so it's easy.  But I still haven't even unwrapped these yet.

Saw the replay on C-SPAN late last night.  'Twas a pleasure to behold.  Even the part where the demonstrator was dragged out while yelling, "Stop lying! Stop the lies!"  There was a time in my early-adult life when I would have considered that moment a triumph rather than a distraction.  (Does this mean I'm getting old?)

Not so much "obsession" as "hey, I like that pic."  Corddry's one of my aesthetic guilty pleasures, along with Tucker Carlson, Jimmy Kimmel, and Eliot Spitzer.
