I'd feared we were going much deeper into the 80s, so I can hang with this for now.

TOTHC: She's super freaky, YOOOWWWW....

Who does this "Sweetheart" song?  12/8 is a really distinctive time signature, eh?  Would be a nice "My Three Songs" or "Make the Connection" (KPIG) topic.  "Hold the Line" comes to mind immediately.

ETA: Thanks to Mike for (sort of) suggesting "Minute by Minute" as the third song.

Undoubtedly my BOS overall, this was in my top ten for that year.

Heading up to Seattle in a couple hours, back late Wednesday.  Will continue to enjoy this set until the visiting VP comes out of the conference room.

Hoping for your sake he's got some major issue to resolve so you can at least catch the rest of the set--only about 20 minutes more!

BOS2 Controversy.

I dunno, if there was a Spanish dancer under my feet, it'd be kinda hard to walk, no?

BOS2 "Contro-triny".  Something tells me this won't be part of his Super Bowl medley...

I always heard this one as "Count Your Pussy".  And with it being Prince, I didn't find that hard to believe.

Nice segue, with the evolution/creation newsclip over the end of Controversy.

Police, second set in a row.

No luck IDing the original date of this set again--no sets in the DB that lead with Super Freak.

Which reminds me, if we're meeting at Amoeba, we should let Beej know, since he lives even closer than I do.

This Bette Midler Oscar clip is one of my faves.

ETA: Ack! I was hoping we wouldn't hear this, but didn't want to speak the name for fear of jinxing it. Bette into Bette, though--I guess DM thought it was a clever segue.

Get ready to get unheezed...

I shudder to think what the other choices were, if a Foghead chose "Rapture"...
