Loves me like a TOTHC!

The Dixie Hummingbirds, who also did their own great version of the tune.

OK, so... was the Song Log running ahead of the set, or were you doing a Xmas-vs.-Hanukkah thing?

reminds me of the many Jewish American Princess (JAP) jokes of the late '70s/early '80s.

Q: "What's a JAP's favorite wine?"
A: "Yew nevah take me out to dinnah any more."

It's funnier if you say it in a really whiny voice...

Ooops, the Song Log had LS & ELO reversed!

This is creepy only because KFOG has been playing this Skynyrd a lot lately -- can this really be a song their target demo likes?

Ditto the Croce BOS -- VHM to Gimble & Fox for writing it, they had quite a year, what with "Killing Me Softly" being the # song of '73 and showered with Grammies to boot.

I always forget that "Dance With Me" was orig released in '73. Took 2 years to become a hit single. So it's kinda cheating to play it in a year with so many worthy tunes.

I think it was meant to, but I'm not sure it was actually him.

"Ain't No Woman Like the One-Eyed Gott."  But "Goth" scans better.

Just a last name, as best as I can infer.

Here's a two-eyed Gott:
