Obscure movie called Queens Logic (late-'80s Big Chill clone) starts with Joe Mantegna driving his car across the 59th St bridge, singing along to this song.  Worth checking out just for that sequence.

Agreed -- "you'd do well to remember the things that he later said" is even more brilliant and relevant now than it was in '72. Amazing.

And agreed on the Elvis too -- and guess what song kept "Burning Love" out of the #1 slot?  Chuck Berry, "My Ding-A-Ling". :roll:
